The Quha Zono handsfree head mouse is fully compatible with iPads with the iPadOS operating system and iPhones with the iOS 13 or later operating system. iPads and iPhones are widely used devices and offer a wide software selection for users. All Quha Zono accessories are working with iPads and iPhones.
An iPad/iPhone device is equipped with either a Lightning or a USB-C port. Quha Zono is connected to an iPad/iPhone with a Lightning or a USB-C adapter. In both cases Quha Zono is a plug-and-play device and works without drivers or additional software. The iPad/Phone can be charged while the Zono USB receiver is connected to the iPad/iPhone. Assistive Touch must be turned on to enable mouse features.
Users with an older iPad/iPhone that cannot be updated to iPadOS/iOS 13 can use the AMAneo BTi adapter available from CSS Microsystems.
The default mouse settings are suitable for most users. If changes to them are required, the settings are done using the Zono Setup and Zono Installation applications on a Windows computer. All settings are stored in the mouse’s memory and therefore follow the user when the mouse is moved between computers. The settings stored in the mouse’s memory are usable on iPads/iPhones.
Clicking and using keyboard
Quha Zono can be used with the iPad/iPhone onscreen keyboard, built-in dwell control features and popular communication apps, such as Grid 3.
Clicking on iPads/iPhones is possible in several ways: Physical switches and Assistive Touch dwell clicking can be used.
Physical switches are the quickest and the most reliable way to make clicks for many users.
When a physical switch is not an option, Assistive Touch dwell clicking can be used to perform clicks.
